Main Fields of Study
The Master's degree in cross-cultural studies is designed for students who want to combine a specialization in a region covered by the Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies (eg Asia, Middle East, Eastern Europe or the Arctic) with a more general analytical / theoretical look at especially the cultural and social conditions that are linked to cross-cultural processes.
You learn to look reflexively and critically to cultural and social science theory and methodology with a focus on intercultural and cross-cultural issues. In addition, you will be able to take professional responsibility in specific work situations that involve conditions across cultural, social, linguistic and religious boundaries, for the development and problem solving in a globalized world.

Language of Instruction
Courses are primarily taught in Danish but occasionally courses taught in English is offered.
