Student guidance
Every year, the department welcomes some 30 international students from all over the world and we aim to increase that number. The department places great importance on the internationalization of education and research environments, which is realized through student exchanges and collaborations with departments and sections abroad. Although most of our staff is Danish, all have excellent English language skills and there are also a number of lecturers and researchers of foreign nationality within the department.
To make the international students’ stay in Denmark as beneficial as possible, both educationally and socially, we have two international counsellors at the department, along with a mentor group that helps international students with the practical aspects of their stay.
