Selection of Courses
The Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies is working to
ensure that in each section at least one course is taught in English each semester. The rest of the courses are taught in Danish.
In the beginning of each semester The University of Copenhagen arranges intensive Danish language courses. The courses are
free of charge for exchange students and might in some cases enable
you to follow the courses taught in Danish at the department. For further information,
please contact the International Counsellors.
Before you send your application to the Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional
Studies, we recommend that you look at the courses offered by the
sections of the department. The courses may vary each semester, but
studying the current courses will give you an indication of the
selection of courses the following semester.
A comprehensive list of all the courses of the current semester can be found at the University of Copenhagen's central Study Information System page.
The lecturers at the Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies speak English fluently, and as an international student at the department it is always possible to get professional advice and guidance in English on projects and exams, regardless of the courses followed.
