On the topography of intimacy, the politics of dependency and the ideology of hatred

Guest lecture by Niza Yanay, Associate Professor, Ben Gurion University

Niza Yanay is a social psychologist and associate professor in anthropology. She is working on the formation and logic of collective hatred and enmity, mainly focusing on the relationships between Israelis and Palestinians in the Middle East. She is the author the
book The Ideology of Hatred - The Psychic Power of Discourse. (2011), Fordham University Press.
