Illiberal Democracy in the European Union?

(Theoretical and Comparative Aspects of Political Change in Hungary)

Guest lecture by Prof. András Bozóki, Central European University, Budapest

András Bozóki is Professor of Political Science at the Central European University. His main fields of research include democratization, political ideas, Central European politics, elites, public discourse and the role of intellectuals. He is the chairman of the Political Science Committee at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He also served as president of the Hungarian Political Science Association.

András Bozóki's (co-)authored books, in English, include 25 Years after the Fall of Iron Curtain: The State of Integration (2014), Diversity and the European Public Sphere (2010), Anarchism in Hungary: Theory, History, Legacies (2006), The Future of Democracy in Europe (2004), Migrants, Minorities, Belonging and Citizenship (2003),  Post-Communist Transition: Emerging Pluralism in Hungary (1992).
