Main Fields of Study

The study focuses on some of today's key challenges, including the massive urbanization and growing slum formation in the wake of decades of successful growth, as well as the political and social conflicts that followed the post-colonial state formation and the question of what significances it has had on democracy and freedoms.

Some key fields of study are Hindi, history, politics and religion, culture and society in India and the surrounding countries.
