Spotlight on Protests in Iran
ToRS is organizing a roundtable on the current protest movement in Iran that started with outrage over the killing in police custody of 22-year old Mahsa (Zhina) Amini and since developed into broad protests against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its leaders. UCPH’s Claus Valling Pedersen and Rasmus Christian Elling, both Associate Professors of Iranian Studies at ToRS, will be joined by commentators from inside and outside Iran (tentative; more information soon).
