The First Annual ToRS-Saxo PhD Seminar
We would like to invite PhD fellows from both the ToRS and Saxo institutes to present a paper on their current project. The seminar will focus on projects within the fields of ancient history, archaeology, cultural heritage and museology. The idea behind the seminar is to offer PhD fellows as well as students and other faculty members insight into the ongoing projects taking place at both institutes and to provide a platform for making new acquaintances.
We encourage everyone to attend the seminar and join in the discussions. There is free coffee, tea and cake for all guests.
Speakers should kindly submit their abstracts on or before 3rd October 2013 to aiysha@hum.ku.dk and rgv525@hum.ku.dk. The abstract should be in English, between 50 and 150 words, and provided with a title.
The seminar will take place on 24th October 2013, in room 27.1.47, at 9.30 until c. 16.00, depending on the final number of speakers.
ECTS: 1.5 ECTS for paper presentation, and 0.2 ECTS for seven hours of participation.
A detailed programme with titles and abstracts will be forwarded at the beginning of October.
