Carlsberg Foundation
The Carlsberg Foundation have several options for external funding. The call will open in late June. Please find the call on their homepage: https://www.carlsbergfondet.dk/en/Applicant/Apply/Call-and-Guidelines where there are guidelines and a link to the online application system which opens 1 September. Deadline for applications for Carlsberg is 1 October @ 4 PM. Some postdoc calls can also be applied for 1 April.
The following can be applied for:
- Internationalisation fellowships, 2-year postdoc felllowships abroad
- Visiting fellowships at the Danish Institute in Rome or the Danish Institute in Athens
- Re-integration fellowships in Denmark following a post doc fellowship abroad
- Semper Ardens Accelerate, collaborative projects for associate professors (max 2 years of tenured employment)
- Semper Ardens Accomplish, collaborative projects for newly appointed professors (max 3 years of employment). Can only be applied for every second year (starting 2023)
- Semper Ardens Advanced, collaborative projects for full professors. Can only be applied for every second year (starting 2022)
- Monographs fellowships one year leave for associate or full professor to produce a ground-breaking monograph
- Research infrastructure
- Field trips/ Research stays at foreign Institutions
- Publication, only monographs based on work supported by Carlsberg
- Conferences
Internal deadlines at ToRS:
Thursday 8 August: If you would like to apply to have your project hosted at ToRS please send an email to charlott@hum.ku.dk with the following files filled in and attached: Application to have a project hosted at ToRS and a Staffing form. Please write in the email text what you apply for (post.doc fellowship, Semper Ardens etc.).
Conc. Co-financing of post doc positions: Due to the financial situation at the University of Copenhagen it is not possible to apply for co-financing from the department.
Conc. Re-integration fellowships: Use this form when applying to be hosted. In order to secure a real re-integration in the relevant research environment at the department, a recommendation from a senior researcher from the research environment you want to be part of, to show that there is an interest in integrating the applicant and how the environment will work actively to include the applicant in relevant activities etc.
Applications to be hosted by ToRS are evaluated by the management after which a reply is send to the applicant by research consultant Charlott Hoffmann Jensen.
2 September: Deadline for submitting the budget form or a Word file with information on expected activities. The form should be send to Charlott Hoffmann Jensen on charlott@hum.ku.dk, who can also assist in the planning of the budget.
